TORONTO -- Mirvish Productions (Ed & Dave Mirvish, Toronto’s renown father-son impresario team) experienced a bumper box office surge for this final week of Slava’s Snowshow, the European styled clown revue of mimed skits and sketches. Following a TV and photo shoot of Slava being shot from a cannon, a two-for-one offer on all seats for all remaining performances exploded with near capacity sales. This is more remarkable because of the minus 15 degrees Centigrade temperatures and the 18-inch snowfall which has enveloped the southern Ontario region since Jan. 7, breaking 15-year old winter records.
