The production is currently booking to March 20.

Frost plays Lesley, a 36-year-old from Manchester. She narrates her life from that earth-shattering moment as a plump 14 year old in 1984, when she hears "Like a Virgin" for the very first time. From that point on Lesley dreams of being a modern woman… and of being best friends with pop icon Madonna. Of course, only one comes true!

Featuring classic songs from the 1980s and 1990s, it is described in publicity materials as "an upbeat, nostalgic, fun evening of entertainment." In a previous press statement, Frost commented, "I'm really looking forward to being back on stage especially with this play, Touched. It is rare that such a brilliantly written piece comes along that is modern, entertaining and totally captures a character and a time. Touched does this in a really well observed and funny way."

Frost, who is also known for her work as creative director of the fashion label Frost French that she co-owns, first acted on stage when she joined the Royal Exchange Theatre in Manchester (a city in which she had spent much of her childhood) to appear in Robin Glendinning's Mumbo Jumbo, directed by Nicholas Hytner in 1986, that subsequently transferred to London's Lyric Hammersmith. She subsequently had parts in the TV series "Press Gang" and "Casualty," before going on to appear in over 20 films; her debut was in "Diamond Skulls," and she subsequently played vampire Lucy Wetenra in Francis Ford Coppola's "Bram Stoker's Dracula" (1992), "Uprising," "Shopping" and "The Heavy," working alongside actors such as Anthony Hopkins, Gary Oldman, Rhys Ifans, David Schwimmer, Jude Law, Winona Ryder and Keanu Reeves. She has recently completed filming on two feature films and has just directed her first short film, "Mrs. Olsen." She also previously appeared in music videos, including various songs for Spandau Ballet, where she met her first husband Gary Kemp.

Touched is directed by Douglas Rintoul with designs by Colin Richmond, lighting design by Katharine Williams and movement by Jamie Bradley. To book tickets, contact the box office at 0870 060 6632 or visit www.touchedtheplay.com.
