Presented by the Broward Center for the Performing Arts and Matthew Lombardo, performances are scheduled for Jan. 22-26, 2014, as part of the WinterStage Season at the Parker Playhouse.

Supervised by Scott Schwartz, Golda’s Balcony earned Feldshuh a Tony Award nomination for Best Actress and, from 2003–05, became the longest-running, one-woman show in Broadway history.

The play, according to press notes, is a "portrait of the indomitable Meir, the Milwaukee schoolteacher who became Prime Minister of Israel in 1969. From the pogroms of Russia to the halls of the Knesset, Meir’s life – and the play – encapsulates the dramatic story of Israel in the 20th Century."

“We are delighted to have Tovah return to the Parker Playhouse and to take part in our WinterStage series,” Lombardo said in a statement. “Her portrayal of Golda Meir in this production is legendary and we are so excited to present this originating Broadway performance to Fort Lauderdale audiences.”

Show times will be Jan. 22 at 8 PM, Jan. 23 at 2 PM and 8 PM, Jan. 24-25 at 8 PM and Jan. 26 at 1 PM and 7 PM.

Individual tickets are $28, $46.50 and $66.50 with discounted tickets for groups of 10 or more priced at $26, $42 and $60. Tickets and group discounts are available at (954) 462-0222 or select a seat online at ParkerPlayhouse.com.

The Parker Playhouse, located in Holiday Park at 707 N.E. Eighth Street in Fort Lauderdale, is an affiliated venue of the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, which provides programming and management of the facility.
