News Tracy Letts' "August: Osage County" Wins Four Awards at Capri, Hollywood Film Festival Tracy Letts' "August: Osage County," the film based on the Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning work about a dysfunctional family that reunites when tragedy strikes, took home four awards at the 2013-14 Capri, Hollywood Film Festival, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The film, which was released in five theatres in New York and Los Angeles Dec. 27, was honored with Best Actress (Meryl Streep), Best Acting Ensemble and Central Film of the Year. Producer Harvey Weinstein, also represented with "Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom," received an unscheduled achievement honor.

Additionally, Chris Cooper, who plays Charlie Aiken, received the festival's Lifetime Achievement Award.

"The winners are justly deserving of the honors they received and we congratulate them for their extraordinary contributions to the art of motion pictures," festival founder and artistic director Pascal Vicedomini said.

Other movies up for the Film of the Year included "Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom," "12 Years a Slave," "The Butler," "American Hustle" and "The Great Beauty (La grande bellezza)."
