The NYPD and the Times Square Business Improvement District (TS-BID) have issued a traffic alert for the weekend, Aug. 5-6. On Sun., Aug. 6 from 11 AM - 6 PM:
Avenue of the Americas between W. 42 Street and W. 57 Street will be closed for the Avenue of the Americas Street Festival.
On Sat., Aug. 5, and/or Sun. Aug. 6 from 8 AM - 6 PM:
W. 41 Street will be closed between Sixth Avenue and Broadway as well as between Seventh Avenue and Eighth Avenue during crane operations. Local and emergency traffic will be maintained at all times.
Theatre patrons may wish to adjust their travel plans accordingly.
