News Trafficking in Broken Hearts to Play the Celebration Theatre in L.A. Casting has been announced for the Celebration Theatre's upcoming production of Edwin Sanchez's Trafficking in Broken Hearts, which begins performances May 7 at the Celebration Theatre in Los Angeles.

Produced by Larry Reitzer and directed by Efrain Schunior, the production will officially open May 8. Performances will continue through June 7.

The three-person cast comprises Ramon Camacho, Elijah Trichon and Stephen Twardokus.

According to Celebration notes, "When Papo (Ramon Camacho), a tough talking Puerto Rican hustler from the Bronx, meets Brian (Stephen Twardokus), a frightened young lawyer from the Midwest, Papo begins to glimpse the possibility of a romantic escape from his life on the streets. At the same time, Bobby (Elijah Trichon), a 17-year-old runaway who has been repeatedly raped by his older brother, offers to take care of Papo and moves into his fleabag hotel room. It is then when Papo's defenses are broken down and he is forced to make the most difficult decision of his life."

The production will feature set design by Marika Stephens, lighting design by Sohail E. Najafi, sound design by Michael Cooper and graphic design by Amanda Hawkins.
