News Tri-State Debut of Musical The Fix Set for Princeton in 2003 The Princeton University Players will present the tri-state area debut of The Fix, the political musical by Dana P. Rowe and John Dempsey that premiered at London's Donmar Warehouse in June 1997.

The Princeton University Players will present the tri-state area debut of The Fix, the political musical by Dana P. Rowe and John Dempsey that premiered at London's Donmar Warehouse in June 1997.

Princeton University's student-run musical theatre organization will present The Fix at Princeton's Theatre-Intime beginning April 17. Set against the backdrop of American politics, the musical concerns the meteoric rise and fall of a young man.

John Barrowman starred in the London production, which was produced by Cameron Mackintosh.The musical made its Washington debut in 1998 at the Signature Theatre. Under the direction of Eric D. Schaeffer, the D.C. production starred Linda Balgord, who played Norma Desmond in the first national tour of Sunset Boulevard, as well as Sal Mistretta (Evita), Jim Walton (Sweeney Todd) and Stephen Bienskie.

The Princeton mounting will run April 17-19 and April 24-26, 2003. Rachael Timinsky — class of 2004 — will direct.
