Directed by L. Walter Stearns, with musical direction by Eugene Dizon and choreography by Brenda Didier, the cast also includes Jasondra Johnson (Goodman Theatre's Crowns) as Sophia, Adrienne Walker (Marriott Theatre in Lincolnshire's Dreamgirls) as Shug Avery, Keithon Gipson as Mister, Evan Tyrone Martin as Harpo and Cortez Johnson as Ol' Mister.
Rounding out the ensemble are Carrie Louise Abernathy, Sydney Charles, Darrian Ford, Aaron Holland, Donterrio Johnson, Donica Lynn, Katrina Miller, Ninah Snipes and Crystal Woods.
Performances will continue through Oct. 27.
