August: Osage County cast member Jim True-Frost directs a cast including Josh Stamell, Paul Murillo, Anna Rahn, Sheila Carrasco, Doug Chapman and Shawn Cody. Ladybird runs through March 21 at the Arrow Theatre in Cambridge. Ladybird is billed this way: "The night before leaving his home to fight in Chechnya, Dima throws himself a small going away party in the apartment he shares with his drunken father. As he celebrates with a junkie, a small-time criminal, a good friend, and her mysterious cousin, the night takes a dark turn when the junkie tries to pawn Dima's most precious possession. In the wake of this betrayal, the host and his desperate guests are forced to confront what it is they really value and what might be left for them in a community known only as 'Dead and Alive.'"

Designing Ladybird are Matthew Whiton (set design), Nathan Leigh (sound design), Hilary Gately (costume design) and Kirsten Opstad (lighting design).

True-Frost also staged the Steppenwolf productions of The Mesmerist and Ghost in the Machine. As an actor known for his turn on HBO's "The Wire," he has appeared on stage in the A.R.T. production of Julius Caesar, as well as the Steppenwolf presentations of Killers, The Grapes of Wrath, Buried Child, The Playboy of the Western World and I Just Stopped By to See the Man.
