Recently named one of "tomorrow's classical superstars" by Gramophone magazine, Balsom, who studied with Hê‰kan Hardenberger and John Wallace, will perform with the Balsom Ensemble, which consists of a pianist, cellist and harpsichordist/pianist.

The program includes Balsom's own transcriptions of compositions by Bach, Handel, Purcell, de Falla, Oskar Lindberg and Astor Piazzola.
