News TV Gets Wicked Nov. 12 and 18 Cast members from the new hit musical Wicked, at the Gershwin Theatre, will appear on TV Nov. 12 and 18.

On Nov. 12 co-stars Kristin Chenoweth and Idina Menzel will perform "Popular" on "The Today Show." The morning news program airs in the metropolitan area on NBC, 8-10 AM ET. Menzel and the Wicked ensemble are also scheduled to perform "Defying Gravity" on "The David Letterman Show" Nov. 18. The evening talk show airs on CBS, 11:35 PM 12:35 AM; check local listings. The Wicked cast also features Tony and Academy Award winner Joel (Cabaret) Grey as The Wizard; Carole Shelley as the Wizard's malevolent cohort Madame Morrible; Norbert Leo Butz as Glinda and Elphaba's love interest Fiyero; Michelle Federer as Elphaba's crippled sister Nessarose; Christopher Fitzgerald as munchkin Boq, who adores Glinda; and William Youmans as Doctor Dillamand, who is a professor and a goat.
