News TV Land Gives 12-Episode Series Order to "Younger," Starring Sutton Foster, Hilary Duff and More Two-time Tony Award winner Sutton Foster, Hilary Duff, Debi Mazar and Miriam Shor will star in TV Land's "Younger," the single-camera comedy written and executive produced by "Sex And the City" creator Darren Star.

According to Deadline.com, TV Land has given a 12-episode series order to the comedy pilot, which will premiere in the fall and film in New York.

Based on the novel of the same name by Pamela Redmond Satran, "Younger" will follow 40-year-old single mother Liza (Foster), who tries to get back into the working world. When a young man at a bar convinces her she looks younger than she is, she tries to pass as 26 with the help of a makeover from her best friend Maggie (Mazar).

Foster, known for her television work on "Bunheads," is a Tony Award winner for her performances in Thoroughly Modern Millie and Anything Goes. She plays the title role in the Broadway bow of Violet, currently playing the American Airlines Theatre.
