News TV Stars Flock to Bucks County Playhouse for Musical Season What do Linda Dano, Loretta Swit, Bonnie Franklin, Adrian Zmed and Eddie Mekka all have in common?

In addition to their TV fame, all of the actors will appear this season at the Bucks County Playhouse in New Hope, PA. Dano, best known for her many years on the TV soap "Another World," will join Anna Stuart for a run of Jerry Herman's Mame June 8-19.

Bonnie Franklin, Tony-nominated for her Broadway debut in Applause, will head the cast of Stephen Sondheim, Jule Styne and Arthur Laurents' classic musical Gypsy. Franklin, who rose to TV fame on "One Day at a Time," will strut her stuff as Momma Rose Sept. 21-Oct. 9.

Former "M*A*S*H*" star Loretta Swit will join John Philip Law for A.R. Gurney's much-performed Love Letters, June 22-26. And, "T.J. Hooker"'s Adrian Zmed and "Laverne & Shirley"'s Eddie Mekka will join forces for two musicals at the Pennsylvania theatre: The Pirates of Penzance (July 6-10) and My Way: A Tribute to Frank Sinatra (July 13-24).

Other offerings include former daytime star Mark Pinter in Lerner and Loewe's My Fair Lady (July 27-Aug. 7) and stage and screen star Peter Weller in Bram Stoker's Dracula (Oct. 12-23). The latter features an adaptation by John Balderston and Hamilton Deane.
