The writers are now asking fans to "Pick a moment of action or reflection important enough to be sung" and to "Look for turning points in the story, moments of crisis or decision, the high points of the drama." Kitt and Yorkey also revealed "we want to pick a spot that fits into the story of the show, but is not seen in the show."
As previously reported, the new song will debut at the 92YTribeca on Oct. 28 as part of "On Stage with Next to Normal," with members of the cast and creative team.
