News Two Eggheads Sitting Around Talking: Foreman and Shawn Discuss Theatre, March 3 A couple of the American theatre's most acclaimed and daring minds, Richard Foreman and Wallace Shawn, will put their heads together on March 3 in a discussion of "theatre and its discontents."

The CUNY event will take place at the university's Graduate Center at 365 Fifth Avenue (near 34th Street) at 7 PM. The Village Voice's most doctrinaire theatre critic, Alisa Soloman, will moderate. Auteur Foreman is the creator of dozens of plays, most recently King Cowboy Rufus Rules the Universe, now at the Ontological Theater. Playwright Shawn's Aunt Dan and Lemon is currently enjoying a successful revival Off-Broadway.
