LOS ANGELES -- Cows and cacti are growing at Theatre Unlimited.

Two original comedies, The Ceramic Cow by Sandey Grinn and Cacti and I by Sally Rover are being performed Fri. and Sat. at 8 PM and Sun. at 2 PM through Mar. 29.

Set "in the southern humidity of Tennessee Williams," The Ceramic Cow is the story of the dysfunctional Leggiarn family as it prepares for the arrival of a gentleman caller with fishnet stockings, several bottles of bourbon and one unusual cow.

In Cacti and I , true friendship means keeping your best dude from committing the desert's most heinous crime, said a company spokesperson.

The production, directed by Johanna Siegmann anbd produced by Dennis Gersten and Elizabeth Wells, features Brad Brizendine, Gersten, Joanne McGee, Scott Metzger, Mireille Morshead, Andre Nemec, Carrie Ann Quinn and Julia Silverman.
