News Tyne Daly Will Sing Out for Abingdon Theatre Benefit Tony and Emmy Award-winning actress Tyne Daly, who is set to make her Feinstein's debut in May, will present a one-night-only performance of her cabaret as a benefit for the Abingdon Theatre Company on April 26.

Created in collaboration with John McDaniel, who serves as conductor, pianist, composer and arranger for the evening of song, the benefit performance offers theatergoers the chance to catch the premiere of Daly's solo evening prior to her Feinstein's engagement, which runs May 12-16.

The 7 PM performance will take place in the Abingdon's June Havoc Theatre.

Best known for her Emmy-winning work on "Cagney and Lacey," Tyne Daly won a Tony Award for her performance as Rose in the 1989 Gypsy revival. She was also Tony-nominated for her work in Rabbit Hole, and her other Broadway credits include That Summer—That Fall and The Seagull.
