The company will feature Michael Chernus (Obie Award winner for In the Wake) as Sam, Tracee Chimo (Lortel Award winner for Bad Jews, 2ST Uptown's Bachelorette) as Chloe, America Ferrera (Emmy Award winner for "Ugly Betty") as Sally and Austin Lysy (2ST's The Water's Edge) as John.

Returning to New York City for the first time in 23 years, Lips Together, Teeth Apart will be directed by Peter DuBois (2ST's Trust, All New People and Becky Shaw) and begin performances Oct. 7, prior to an official opening Nov. 5.

Here's how it's billed: "It's the 4th of July on Fire Island where a brother and sister and their spouses are spending the quintessential American summer weekend in an unfamiliar setting. As their season in the sun unfolds, the two couples do their best to enjoy themselves despite their prejudices and insecurities. The grill is fired up, the drinks are cold and the pool is open but no one is going in. Terrence McNally's trenchant comedy receives its first New York revival in 23 years under the direction of Peter DuBois."

Subscriptions are currently available through 2ST.com or by calling the box office at (212) 246-4422. Second Stage is currently celebrating its 35th anniversary season.

All performances are staged at Second Stage's Tony Kiser Theatre at 305 West 43rd Street (just west of Eighth Avenue).
