News "Ugly Betty" Star Michael Urie Will Bring Barbra Streisand-Themed Buyer and Cellar to London "Ugly Betty" star Michael Urie, who played Marc St. James in the recent ABC series, is to reprise his award-winning Off-Broadway performance in Jonathan Tolins' Buyer and Cellar, beginning performances at London's Menier Chocolate Factory March 12, prior to an official opening March 19, for a run through May 2.

In the show, Urie plays an out-of-work actor working in Barbra Streisand's personal shopping mall in the basement of her California home.

Urie has previously appeared in London in a brief transfer of Celebrity Autobiography from the Edinburgh Fringe to Leicester Square Theatre in 2010. His New York theatre credits include How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (Broadway), The Cherry Orchard (CSC), Angels in America (Signature) and The Temperamentals (Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Lead Actor).
