News U.K.'s Covent Garden Plans Theatrical Costume Sale

Following the great success of previous sales, The Royal Opera House has announced that it is to sell over 1,000 costumes from a selection of opera and ballet productions including Aida, The Sleeping Beauty, Arabella and Don Quixote.

In addition to the costumes, there will be period shoes, head-dresses, fans, gloves and other accessories.

The perfect opportunity to buy clothes for parties or premieres, the sale will start at 10 AM on Sunday, Aug. 4, in the Vilar Floral Hall, and will be on a first-come first served basis. Volunteers from the Royal Opera House will be on hand to help with selections. Items will be individually priced, from as little as £5.
