News Understudies from Pippin, Big Fish, Far from Heaven, Phantom, Kinky Boots and More Will Stand in the Spotlight Musicals Tonight!, which is under the leadership of Mel Miller, will continue its ongoing salute to Broadway and Off-Broadway standbys, understudies and alternates with the 10th anniversary performance of At This Performance Oct. 27 at 7 PM at The Lion Theatre.

Hosted by series producing artistic director and casting director Stephen DeAngelis, the evening will feature musical direction and accompaniment by Eugene Gwozdz.

Those scheduled to perform and share their experiences include Erik Altemus (understudy for the role of Pippin in Pippin), Erica Aubrey (understudy for the roles of Cathy Whitaker, Eleanor Fine, Doreen and Nancy in Far From Heaven), Sarah Bakker (understudy for the role of Christine Daae in The Phantom of the Opera), John Arthur Greene (understudy for the role of Mr. Wormwood in Matilda The Musical), Sabrina Harper (understudy for the roles of Berthe, Catherine and Fastrada in Pippin), Jamie Jackson (understudy for the role of Schlomo Carlebach in Soul Doctor), Adam Kaplan (understudy for the role of Jack Kelly in Newsies), Andy Kelso (understudy for the role of Charlie Price in Kinky Boots), Courtney Markowitz (understudy for the role of Emma Carew in Jekyll & Hyde), Angel Reda (understudy for the role of Velma Kelly in Chicago), Emmy Raver-Lampman (understudy for the Joplinaires in A Night with Janis Joplin), Lara Seibert (understudy for the roles of Sandra Bloom and Josephine Bloom in Big Fish) and Tally Sessions (understudy for the roles of Edward Bloom, Karl the Giant and Amos Calloway in Big Fish).

Musicals Tonight’s At This Performance debuted in October 2003 and to date has showcased the talents of 673 standbys, understudies and alternates who have covered 2,894 roles in 351 Broadway and Off-Broadway.
