The one-night-only concert will be presented at the Lucille Lortel Theatre and will feature 15 young performers as well as six special guest stars: Carey Anderson (Mamma Mia!), Kaitlin Hopkins (How the Grinch Stole Christmas), Todd Buonopane (Spelling Bee), Marcus Paul James (Rent), Jesse Nager (Mary Poppins) and Whitney Bashor (Prom King). Show time is 8 PM.
Directed by Phillip George the evening will spotlight the work of composers Andrew Lippa, Laurence O’Keefe, Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, John Mercurio, Steven Lutvak, Barbara Anselmi, Hector Coris and Paul L. Johnson, Stephen Cole and Jeffrey Saver, Doug Cohen, Brian Lowdermilk and Kait Kerrigan, Barry Wyner, Nick Blaemire, Lisa DeSpain and Kristen Anderson Lopez, Ira Gasman and Alex Rybeck, Stephen Sislen, Nathan Tysen and Chris Miller, and Kevin Laursen. The creative team will also include Brad Vieth and Michael Rider (musical direction) and Minami Yusui (choreography).
Producers are Todd Adamson and Stephanie Safko, who will also perform in the concert.
