PlayBlog Urie and Newton Ponder Post-"Betty" Life In case you've been wondering what "Ugly Betty" stars Michael Urie and Becki Newton will be doing after wrapping up the show's fourth and final season, don't worry, they’ve been wondering, too.

But Michael just had an “amazeballs idea!”
Michael: “What if we did a musical show, just the two of us!?”
Becki: “Like, on Broadway?!”
Michael: “No, more like at Feinstein’s on February 21st at 8 and 10:30!”

It’s true; these stars of the award-winning ABC sitcom are putting on a musical show. The Feinstein’s website confirms:  “In a shameless attempt to land jobs on Broadway, Michael and Becki don not-so-well-fitting masks of musical cabaret geniusness for idiots, by idiots. A tale of two idiots, if you will. In their misguided quest to go from secondary T.V. actors to bona fide Broadway stars, watch as these two fools plot to take The Great White Way by storm. Under the direction (baby sitting) of Lance Horne.”

Shenanigans aside, the two come with theatre pedigrees to match their television resumes. Recently, Newton appeared in the City Center Encores! production of Girl Crazy, and Urie will star Off-Broadway as iconic fashion designer Rudi Gernreich in The Temperamentals, opening Feb. 28 at New World Stages.

Newton and Urie appear at Feinstein’s at Loews Regency Feb. 21 at 8 and 10:30 PM. Feinstein’s is located at 540 Park Avenue, at 61st street. To purchase tickets, or for more information, visit the Feinstein’s website.
