Urinetown, the Broadway musical that reaped 10 Tony nominations, will be featured on the May 10 edition of the "News Hour with Jim Lehrer." The program runs at 7 PM on Channel 13 and PBS stations nationwide; 6 PM on Channel 21.
Urinetown was nominated in the Tony categories of best musical, best book of a musical, best original score, leading actor in a musical (for John Cullum), leading actress in a musical (for Nancy Opel and Jennifer Laura Thompson), featured actress in a musical (for Spencer Kayden), direction of a musical (John Rando), orchestrations (Bruce Douglin) and choreography (John Rando).
