Rob Maitner joins David Gurland in Neurotica.

Rob Maitner, who was part of the original Fringe production of Urinetown, will provide back-up vocals for the concerts, which are titled Neurotica. Gurland will also be backed by vocalist Jonathan Tomaselli, Jerry Smith on percussion and Matt Wigton on bass. Michael Holland is the show's musical director and arranger. Neurotica, which premiered in May 2005, boasts 20 of Madonna's hit songs, spanning the past two-and-a-half decades. Show time each evening is 10:30 PM.

David Gurland is the recipient of the Manhattan Association of Cabaret and Club’s Hanson Award and the Back Stage Bistro Award for Outstanding Vocalist. He also won a Bistro Award for his self-titled CD. Gurland has performed in a plethora of New York venues, including Downtime, The Bitter End, The Living Room, CB’s Gallery, FEZ, The Firebird, Eighty-Eights, The Triad as well as the Gardenia in Los Angeles.

The Metropolitan Room is located in Manhattan at 34 West 22nd Street, between Fifth and Sixth Avenues. There is a $20 cover charge and a two-drink minimum. Call (212) 206-0440 for reservations.
