Directed by Geordie Broadwater, performances of Christmas will play Manhattan's Connelly Theatre through May 23. The cast comprises Emily Landham (The Cripple of Inishmaan), Roger Lirtsman (Nobody Likes the Mormons) and Alex Fast (El Grito Del Bronx). "For Christie, Luke and Julie, time just won't stand still," read Christmas Is Miles Away press notes. "The '80s turn into the '90s, foreign wars loom but with your Walkman and The Smiths, at least there's a soundtrack. . . [Playwright] Chloe Moss takes on the inevitable and involuntary process of growing up, and asks: can you do it together, or does everyone grow up alone?"

The creative team includes Daniel Zimmerman (sets), Dan Scully (lights), Becky Lasky (costumes), Anthony Gabriele (sound) and Eric Reynolds (props).

Playwright Moss is the recipient of the 2009 Susan Smith Blackburn Award Prize for her play This Wide Night.
