News   USA Networks Picks Up Sitcom Starring Tony Award Winner Nathan Lane
 
USA Networks has picked up the half-hour comedy formerly entitled "On We Go," starring and produced by Tony Award winner Nathan Lane, according to Deadline.com.

The now untitled project, written and also produced by Douglas McGrath, will follow Lane, an unlucky actor, as puts his Broadway aspirations on hold to return to his Texas hometown when his father's health is at risk.

The project is currently in development, and an airdate has not been set.

Lane won the Tony Award in 1996 for his performance in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum and again in 2001 for his performance in The Producers. He was last seen on Broadway in The Addams Family.

Lane is currently filming Relativity Media's upcoming "Snow White" film opposite Julia Roberts, which is set for a release in June 2012. In the film, Lane will play Brighton, the Queen's servant.
