One week before she steps into Broadway's Chicago to replace Bebe Neuwirth as Velma, German chantuese Ute Lemper's new solo CD, All That Jazz: The Best of Ute Lemper, will be released Sept. 1 by London/Decca Records.
A collection of Kurt Weill compositions, cabaret numbers, Marlene Dietrich torch songs, Edith Piaf standards, film songs, the CD will also include two musical theatre numbers -- "All That Jazz" from Chicago and "Don't Tell Mama" from Cabaret.

Lemper made her stage debut in the original Vienna production of Cats. She most recently played Velma Kelly in the London production of Chicago for which she received an Oliver Award for Best Actress in a Musical.
