Denise Van Outen, who will appear as Roxie in Chicago on Broadway next month, will return to London's Adelphi Theatre on April 29. Van Outen was a great success as Roxie in London and is expected to win over American theatre critics and audiences in the same way that she did at home in Britain.

The musical is one of Kander and Ebb's best shows, though credit also belongs to the choreography - by Ann Reinking in the style of Bob Fosse - as Chicago, in Walter Bobbie's production, is as much a dance show as it is a musical. —by Theatrenow
