News Violet Tony Nominee Will Offer NYC Concert in September Joshua Henry, a 2014 Tony nominee for his performance in the Broadway debut of Violet, will play Joe's Pub in September.

The acclaimed singing actor will be seen at the intimate venue Sept. 22 at 7:30 PM.

Henry, according to Joe's Pub, will share "an exciting mix of his own arrangements that combine pop hits, Broadway, and original tunes. Whether it's mixing Sam Cooke with John Kander or John Legend with Gershwin, the evening is as diverse as the composers, but the songs all touch the soul."

Henry has also been seen on Broadway in Bring It On The Musical, The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess, The Scottsboro Boys (Tony nomination), American Idiot and In the Heights.
