The four-person group, which comprises Amy Cervini, Melissa Dye, Richard Roland and Raymond Sage, will play the famed Manhattan venue Sept. 6 at 6:30 PM. The foursome will be backed by the Monday Off Band: Michael Cabe on piano, Mark Lau on bass and Ernesto Cervini on drums. Concertgoers can expect jazz, vocalese and country swing.
Monday Off, according to press notes, "successfully combine the sounds of the vocal groups of the big-band era with contemporary harmonies, exploring everything from standards to not-so standards to vocalese to adapting tunes from musical theatre to their harmonic styles. Basing their sound in jazz, the group also has pop, folk, and Latin in their repertoire."
