News   Vocal Selections for See What I Wanna See Now Available Alfred Music Publishing has released "See What I Wanna See: Vocal Selections," a new songbook arranged for piano and voice.

The musical with a score by Michael John LaChiusa played the Public Theater in fall 2005. The cast featured Tony Award winner Idina Menzel, Marc Kudisch, Mary Testa, Aaron Lohr and Henry Stram. Titles in the songbook include "She Looked at Me," "See What I Wanna See," "The Greatest Practical Joke," "Central Park," "Coffee," "Curiosity" and "There Will Be a Miracle."

See What I Wanna See, according to press notes, "moves from a mysterious murder in Central Park to the miracle of a devastated city's rebirth, chronicling New York stories of faith, loss and redemption. With a contemporary, lush score, this musical takes inspirations from the stories of Ryunosuke Akutagawa, as translated by Takashi Kojima." The original cast recording is available on the Ghostlight Records label.
