Paula Vogel's How I Learned To Drive will be read for radio Sept. 24 at the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts in Skokie. This Drive features Randall Arney, Joy Gregory, Glenne Headly, Rondi Reed, Alan Wilder and the Steppenwolf Theatre company.

Drive follows the unsteady, unhealthy relationship between L'il Bit, a young girl, and her alcoholic Uncle Peck. The Off-Broadway show that nabbed Lucille Lortel, Drama Desk, Obie and NY Drama Critics Circle Awards for Best Play finished its run April 19 after 450 performances and 15 previews.

Drive will be broadcast Nov. 8 at 8 PM on Chicago's 98.7 WFMT.

Tickets for the one night performance are $28. The Performing Arts Center is located at 9501 Skokie Blvd. For further information, call the box office at (847) 673-6300.
