Jones and Kohler will take part in a free 6:30 PM discussion within the Tishman Auditorium, which will also include South African-born writer Yvette Christiansë and puppeteer Dan Hurlin (Disfarmer). The focus of the evening will be puppetry "as a contemporary medium of communication and advocacy."

War Horse began Broadway previews March 15 and will officially open April 14. The U.S. production reunites the entire original London creative team, but employs an all-American cast.

War Horse incorporates a series of life-sized equestrian puppets, which have the capability of strikingly lifelike movement. Each evocative creature is manipulated by an on-stage crew of three puppeteers who give life to a horse named Joey, as he grows from a skittish foal into a full-grown horse.
