The Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre, London’s ambitious new redevelopment project that is transforming the site of the former Fountain Studios into a high-tech, flexible theatre space, will host the return of the National Theatre’s award-winning production of War Horse next fall.

Conceived by co-directors Marianne Elliott (Angels in America) and Tom Morris, the Tony- and Olivier Award-winning hit blends naturalistic storytelling and breathtaking puppetry to bring Michael Morpurgo’s coming-of-age novel to life onstage. The original production has captivated audiences across the world on tour and in sit-down international runs since its 2007 premiere at the National.

War Horse will play the Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre for a limited, six-week engagement October 18–November 23. The London dates are part of the itinerary for the show's current international tour.

Capable of seating 1,000–2,000, the Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre will be able to accommodate traditional proscenium arch theatre, in-the-round theatrical experiences, and immersive productions.

The theatre will officially open its doors next summer with a production to be announced.

Tickets go on sale to the general public February 15. Visit troubadourtheatres.com/wembleypark.
