PlayBlog War Horse's Matt Doyle and Katy Pfaffl Cover "Bleeding Love" and "Thin Air" (Video) Matt Doyle and Katy Pfaffl, currently performing in the Tony Award nominated play War Horse, found some time outside of the Vivian Beaumont Theater at Lincoln Center to cover "Bleeding Love," made famous by Leona Lewis, and "Thin Air," by Aqualung.


Though both actors perform eight shows a week in War Horse, they manage to record original music and promote solo albums. Doyle will be releasing his first solo EP entitled "Daylight" May 24. The album includes five original songs, co-written by Will Van Dyke, as well a cover of "Lost and Lookin" by Sam Cooke. For more information on the album, click here.

Pfaffl, also known as Mighty Kate, is currently promoting her fifth album, "Mighty Kate." She will also be making a return to solo concerts with a one-night-only performance at Rockwood Music Hall May 23, featuring a full band. According to singer's Facebook event, "This show is free… the music is real… [and] the occasion is rare…"

Tonight's the night to catch the 9 PM concert. According to Doyle's Twitter account, he will also be in the house to perform a duet with Pfaffl. In the meantime, watch the duo perform their acoustic covers of "Bleeding Love" and "Thin Air."
