Feast of Snails and Life After George are both closing a week earlier than announced, on March 16.
This will be disappointing news for fans of the two leading men involved, David Warner (Feast of Snails) and Stephen Dillane (Life After George) but reflects the fact that if a show is not doing good business it makes commercial sense to close as soon as possible.
Both Warner and Dillane have earned their spurs in Shakespearean roles - Warner was one of the great Hamlets of the 1960s and Dillane of the 1990s - so perhaps for their next West End foray they could dust off their tights and get back in a period drama.
