News Warren Beatty's Howard Hughes Project Will Feature Alec Baldwin, Martin Sheen and Annette Bening Alec Baldwin has joined Warren Beatty's project on reclusive millionaire Howard Hughes, Deadline.com reports.

The project, which is untitled, will revolve around Hughes' assistant, played by Alden Ehrenreich ("Beautiful Creatures," "Blue Jasmine") and his love interest, played by Lily Collins ("Mirror, Mirror," "The Blind Side"). Academy Award winner and Tony nominee Beatty (A Loss of Roses, "Bonnie and Clyde") will direct and star as Hughes, and Baldwin will play Hughes' lawyer Bob Maheu.

The cast will also feature Tony nominee and Emmy winner Martin Sheen (The Subject Was Roses, "The West Wing), Tony winner Matthew Broderick (Brighton Beach Memoirs, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying) and Tony and Academy Award nominee Annette Bening (Coastal Disturbances, "American Beauty").

Baldwin is a Tony nominee for A Streetcar Named Desire. His stage credits also include Twentieth Century and Orphans. The Academy Award nominee's screen credits include "The Cooler," "30 Rock," "Blue Jasmine," and "It's Complicated."
