News Warren Leight Developing Medical Series for Fox Tony Award-winning playwright Warren Leight is developing a drama about medical ethics for Fox, according to deadline.com.

Peter Chernin and Kathrine Pope will co-executive produce the project with Leight, with law professor-author Lori Andrews and producer-autism activist John Shestack serving as consultants on the project.

Leight, a Tony Award winner for Side Man, has written and served as an executive producer (or showrunner) on the series "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," "In Treatment" and the upcoming FX boxing drama "Lights Out," which will premiere Jan. 11.  

Other Leight plays include No Foreigners Beyond This Point and Glimmer, Glimmer and Shine.
