News Washington Troupe Plans Revue of Songs From Less-Produced Musicals Showtunes Theatre Company in Seattle, WA has announced its 2015-16 season, the first season for new artistic director Matt Wolfe since the departure of previous director Martin Charnin (lyricist of Annie).

The season begins with Songs We Know, a concert of show tunes featured in lesser-produced musicals. The concert runs Dec. 5-6 and is arranged and directed by Scott Warrender. "The Washingtonians—The Choir With a Sense of Humor" will perform. 

Next is Finian's Rainbow, the musical story of an Irishman and his daughter, who hope to strike it rich in America using a pot of gold stolen from a leprechaun. The show runs Mar. 19-20, 2016.

The season closes with Working, a musical revue based on Studs Terkel's oral history of the working class, featuring songs by a variety of writers, from Stephen Schwartz to James Taylor. The show runs May 7-8, 2016.
