Special Features   Watch! Broadway Stars Channel Cats on the Opening-Night Carpet

The stars of the latest revival aren’t the only ones who can impersonate felines.

The first revival of the 1980s mega-hit Cats bowed on Broadway July 31. Playbill correspondent Matt Rodin met Broadway royalty, including composer Andrew Lloyd Webber, on the opening night red carpet (or silver litter box, as they called it).

We asked celebs to do their best impersonation of a cat—with a few qualifiers. Watch stage favorites like Laura Osnes, Corey Cott, Tommy Tune, as well as original cat Ken Page and composer Lloyd Webber, act out their best impression of a furry friend.
