Choirs from New York and the debut cities of Dear Evan Hansen's national tour have joined together with current Broadway understudy and future tour star Ben Levi Ross to perform a national, multi-media version of “You Will Be Found.” Watch their performances in the video above.
The national tour of Dear Evan Hansen will kick off this fall at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts (September 25–October 13), followed by engagements in Los Angeles (October 17–November 25) and San Francisco (December 5–30). There are 50 cities on the show's tour route.
As previously reported, joining Ross in the principal cast of the national tour will be Jessica Phillips (Heidi Hansen), Jared Goldsmith (Jared Kleinman), Phoebe Koyabe (Alana Beck), Christiane Noll (Cynthia Murphy), Aaron Lazar (Larry Murphy), Marrick Smith (Connor Murphy), and Maggie McKenna (Zoe Murphy).
The cast also includes Stephen Christopher Anthony (as the Evan alternate), along with understudies Ashley De La Rosa, Noah Kieserman, Jane Pfitsch, Coleen Sexton, and Maria Wirries.
Dear Evan Hansen features a score by the Tony- and Oscar-winning songwriting team of Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (Dogfight, A Christmas Story), a book by Tony winner Steven Levenson (Masters of Sex), choreography by Danny Mefford (Fun Home), and direction by multiple Tony nominee Michael Greif (Rent, Next to Normal, If/Then).
Dear Evan Hansen continues to play on Broadway at the Music Box Theatre, where Taylor Trensch currently stars in the title role (with Michael Lee Brown in certain performances). The musical is the winner of six Tony Awards.
