In response to threats from the notorious Westboro Baptist Church to protest the funerals of the victims of the Orlando gay bar shooting rampage, Florida theatre folk doned large white angel wings to block the view of the protesters and their homophobic signs from family members and other mourners.
The first of the funerals were held June 16, and have been ongoing
The gunman brought firearms into the Pulse nightclub in Orlando, FL, and proceeded to shoot 49 people to death and send another 53 to the hospital with gunshot wounds. The killer was later shot dead by police.

OST's costume shop was used to fabricate the wings, paid for with donated money.
