Move over James Corden; Samantha Bee thinks there should have been room for two late night TV hosts in the upcoming Cats movie, and she's making her case with this audition tape.
Bee dons whiskers and cat ears to dance and hiss her way into director Tom Hooper's new film, the trailer of which made waves online when it was released July 18.
This is not the first time Bee has turned to Broadway on her TBS late night show Full Frontal with Samantha Bee. Hamilton and In the Heights star Javier Muñoz joined Bee in 2018 for a song and dance encouraging Bee to visit Puerto Rico.
The all-star cast of Cats includes Taylor Swift, Jennifer Hudson, James Corden, Idris Elba, Judi Dench, and more taking on the singing and dancing Jellicle cats from Andrew Lloyd Webber's long-running musical. Set to hit movie theatres December 20, the new screen adaptation transforms its cast into felines using digital motion capture techniques that director Tom Hooper refers to as "Digital Fur Technology."

The film will also feature choreography by Hamilton Tony winner Andy Blankenbuehler and a new song penned by Lloyd Webber specifically for the film.
