In celebration of Spirit Day, students from Oakland School for the Arts put a special spin on the Fun Home musical number.

San Francisco’s Curran Theatre has joined forces with GLAAD to celebrate Spirit Day, a day that encourages all to take a stand against bullying. Before the national tour of Fun Home hits the Curran in 2017, students from Oakland School for the Art took the stage for an a cappella version of “Ring of Keys.”

The moving new music video supports #SpiritDay; it was released on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.

In the Facebook post, the message from the Curran says that “Ring of Keys” from the musical “beautifully empowers youth with a message of #hope, #love and #perseverance, we wholeheartedly celebrate #SPIRITDAY with GLAAD this month.” Check out the full post below.
