In the new video above, watch highlights from the world premiere of Theresa Rebeck's Bernhardt/Hamlet's ahead of the production's official opening on Broadway September 25. Set against a lavish, late-19th-century production of Hamlet, Rebeck’s new play paints a portrait of a legend while shining a loving light on the chaos and passion that goes into making theatre.
Moritz von Stuelpnagel directs a cast that also includes Dylan Baker as Constant Coquelin and Jason Butler Harner as Edmond Rostand, along with Tony Carlin as Louis, Matthew Saldivar as Alphonse Mucha, Nick Westrate as Maurice, Ito Aghayere as Rosamond, Brittany Bradford as Lysette, Aaron Costa Ganis as Raoul, and Triney Sandoval as Francois.
Bernhardt/Hamlet began previews August 31 at the American Airlines Theatre.
