Video Watch: Krysta Rodriguez on Reclaiming Her Style During Cancer Treatment and Beyond The Spring Awakening and Smash alum has been named 'DreamGirl' at Look Good Feel Better's annual DreamBall.

Shortly after stage and screen favorite Krysta Rodriguez was diagnosed with breast cancer, the performer found a new creative outlet: writing. With her blog ChemoCouture, Rodriguez shared her journey from diagnosis to treatment to defeating her cancer, all through the lens of maintaining her sense of style and fashion during the difficult process.

Now, on the two-year anniversary of her return to Broadway in Spring Awakening, Rodriguez is being honored by Look Good Feel Better, an organization dedicated to boosting the self-esteem and quality of life for people battling cancer. The actor has been named 'DreamGirl' of the group’s annual benefit gala, the DreamBall.

In the video above, Rodriguez discusses how she became involved with Look Good Feel Better (and how you can to), the need for self-care in times of crisis, and more.

Rodriguez recently starred in the NBC comedy Trial & Error, which has been renewed for a second season. She is set to return to the New York stage this season in Theresa Rebeck’s What We’re Up Against. Performances will begin October 28 at Off-Broadway's WP Theater.
