Video Watch Lauren Elder Sing 'Fly Right Outta Here' From Mary and Max The show, about two lonely pen pals, held its world premiere in Calgary in 2018.

A series of videos featuring songs from the musical Mary and Max have been released by Reel Artistry, a video production company for celebrities, artists, and creative brands.

Above, Lauren Elder (Hair, Side Show) sings "Fly Right Outta Here," from a scene where Mary wants to escape to New York City to visit Max, her only friend.

Mary and Max has music and lyrics from Bobby Cronin and a book by Crystal Skillman, based on an Australian claymation film by Adam Elliot. The show held its world premiere in 2018 at Theatre Calgary in Canada, starring Elder, Nick Adams, and Anthony Galde.

"I saw an early reading of the show when it was presented at the Alliance Theatre a couple years ago," said Justin Cole Adams, communications manager at Reel Artistry. "The energy of that room was incredible...everyone was in tears after the final number."
