Lauren Molina, seen on Broadway in the 2005 revival of Sweeney Todd and Rock of Ages, takes on the Alan Menken-Howard Ashman classic “Somewhere That’s Green” from their Off-Broadway hit Little Shop of Horrors in this new video released by Reel Artistry.
Also known as one-half of the musical duo The Skivvies, Molina is set to star in the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park production of You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown. She joins her Skivvies co-star Nick Cearley in the actor-musician production.
Molina’s version of “Somewhere That’s Green” is released in partnership with Reel Artistry, a video production company focused on musical theatre reels and other artist-based video content. A second video is forthcoming.
Reel Artistry is also set to release specialized content, including Bobby Cronin’s Mary & Max, starring Nick Adams and Lauren Elder.
