Miranda also visited Good Morning America, which you can watch below. The segment begins with a behind-the-scenes look at the making of "Always Like Praying" from the recording studio, which is followed by an interview with the Hamilton composer. Miranda explains how he was able to create this single so quickly following the hurricane, explaining that "one of the things any Puerto Rican who has ties to the island had in the immediate wake of the hurricane was time, because there was this terrible silence while we all waited to hear from our families." He goes on to share that his main goal with the song was to include the names of the 78 towns of Puerto Rico so that "their names will never be forgotten again."
